Two Great Products = One Great Pharmacy Storage Solution

By Stuffey | January 10, 2020

Who knows why, but I started thinking about those old Reese’s Cup commercials the other day. You know, the ones where one person says: “hey, you got your peanut butter on my chocolate”, and another person says: “No, you got your chocolate in my peanut butter”. Like people walk around eating out of a jar of peanut butter. Anyway, here’s a good example:

The idea being: two great tastes, taste great together (and I must admit I agree with them on that). This got me thinking about a couple of pharmacy storage installations we have done lately using Hamilton Sorter laminate casework lower cabinets mixed with Spacesaver FrameWRX shelving cantilevered above the cabinets. FrameWRX provides flexibility and maximization of storage space and provides lots of options for pharmacy storage.  The Hamilton Sorter product includes slanted vile drawers as well as closed and open cabinets. The Modular Casework Cabinets and FrameWRX are used to store active items used to fill prescriptions as well as the bags once the prescriptions have been filled. Both products are completely modular and can be moved and reconfigured if needed. The resulting space is flexible and efficient, giving the employees an opportunity to max out their productivity. I guess you could say, it’s two great products that work great together.

{The photos to the left are of the pharmacy at Memorial Outpatient Center in Hallandale, Florida, and  the pharmacy at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. In both projects, Spacesaver High Density Mobile Shelving Systems was also used within the pharmacy to store bulk items in a compacted space. So I guess you could really say that 3 great products work great together.}
